Sin Wee Seng Industries Sdn Bhd (SWS Sofa) commenced its upholstery sofa manufacturing operation in 1970 as a small family owned business enterprise serving the domestic market. Over the period of 20 years, SWS Sofa expanded its business to a sizable operation and strived to improve its production efficiency as well as product quality to match the world market’s standards. SWS Sofa made his maiden export sales in 1990 with the leadership of our managing director CK Neo. Sin Wee Seng Industries Sdn Bhd (SWS Sofa) has grown its business aggressively to capture the opportunities of exporting its products worldwide. SWS Sofa houses its operations at its own factory premises cover 650,000 sq ft and has a strong workforce of more than 800 people. SWS Sofa is currently exporting more than 300 containers to 5 continents covering more than 100 countries. SWS Sofa is now the one of the biggest sofa upholstery manufacturers in Malaysia. In its course of expanding its production capacities, SWS Sofa modernize its production process by investing in more than 10 units of leather nesting and cutting machines which extensively increased its capabilities of cutting more leathers with higher accuracy and speed. SWS Sofa also automated its plywood and board cutting by investing in the CNC cutters. The design team of SWS Sofa always work to innovate the design and functionality of its sofa products. SWS Sofa has since extended its products towards motion sofas that offer reclining and other motor powered functionaries. Also, SWS Sofa which was traditionally involved in manufacturing of upholstery sofa has also expanded its product range to upholstery dining chairs, arm chairs and beds.
