Shuoshi Stone, founded in 2002, has long specialized in the manufacturing and production of marble furniture. With over two‑decade‑long dedication to overseas markets, it achieves a monthly shipment volume of 15‑20 containers, and has built a solid reputation across Europe, America and Australia for product quality and delivery reliability. Shuoshi Furniture was established in 2020, focusing primarily on original design and brand marketing. Though the two teams boast their respective strengths and operate with divided professional responsibilities under the same ownership — the manufacturing team delivers solid production expertise, while the design team brings sharp creative insights. Our original design team consists of graduates from world‑renowned overseas design institutions, and maintains long‑term collaborations with international brands and designers. Backed by our well‑established in‑house factory, we are capable of swiftly converting design drawings into mass‑produced finished goods. To address the pain points of conventional marble furniture — excessive weight, fragility and difficult handling — we have developed lightweight marble furniture through material innovation and process optimization. It preserves the natural veining and tactile quality of stone, while drastically reducing product weight and brittleness. It simplifies logistics and handling for merchants, and effectively resolves full‑chain challenges ranging from production to final in‑home installation. After years of independent research and development, we have pioneered a new thin‑slice marble technology, enabling material thickness to be controlled within 2 mm to 6 mm. This ultra‑thin panel fundamentally solves long‑standing drawbacks of traditional marble: heavy weight, susceptibility to breakage and limited design forms. A tabletop of identical dimensions, which once required 4‑6 workers to carry, can now be easily handled by just two average adults. More importantly, stone is a non‑renewable resource. By reducing material thickness from several centimetres down to the millimetre range, we can yield multiple times the surface area of finished products from one single raw stone block. This extends the utilisation of limited natural resources for greater sustainability, delivering meaningful value to both the industry and the environment. While retaining the one‑of‑a‑kind veining and premium texture of natural marble, our technology supports stone bending and curved forming, unlocking greater design freedom and broader application scenarios. Furthermore, we explore cross‑material integration: combining ultra‑thin marble with eco‑friendly natural materials such as timber, hemp rope and straw. This merges the luxury character of marble with the warmth of solid wood and the organic freshness of sustainable materials, delivering products of high‑end quality with human‑centred warmth.
